Everything in one platform

Built for how lotto is sold in Ghana

From the writer on the street to the results desk and your finance team.

Agent & writer network

Agents run teams of writers (retailers). Add agents, writers under them, and see every team's sales live.

POS + mobile terminal

Each writer gets a POS (Sunmi/handheld, prints receipts) and a phone app, both on the same account and credit.

Prepaid writer credit

Writers buy selling credit at a discount you set (e.g. 30%: pay GHS 70, get GHS 100), by cash at the office, MoMo or card on the device.

Automatic agent commission

A share you set (e.g. 3%) of all sales under each agent, worked out every pay period (e.g. 2 weeks) with a ready pay-run statement for finance.

Result checker

Results entered, verified blind by a second person and published by a third. Winning tickets are settled automatically.

Risk & integrity

Exposure caps per number, live gauges, late-stake alerts, sealed sales at the cut-off, tamper-evident audit.

Public results site

Players follow today's draws, results and check tickets by QR code. No online play: KGL holds the online rights.

Your brand

Your logo, colours and web address on the terminals, receipts, app and results site, with official NLA game artwork.

Your sales network

Built for agents and writers

KGL holds the online rights, so private operators sell through the field. The platform runs that network for you.

Your company

Sells through its field network only. Credit is paid up front, so you never chase writers for cash.

Agents

Earn commission (e.g. 3%) on everything their writers sell, paid every pay period. They hand out the devices and support their team.

Writers

Sell on the POS or the phone app with prepaid credit bought at a discount (e.g. 30%): that discount is their margin.

Example at the default rates (you can change them): a writer loads GHS 1,000 of credit for GHS 700 and sells GHS 1,000 of tickets: they keep GHS 300. Their agent earns 3% (GHS 30) on those sales at the next 2-week pay run.
How it works

From application to first ticket

  1. 1

    Apply online

Tell us about your company, choose a web name and plan, upload your NLA licence certificate and pay your plan's first month by MoMo or card. About 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    We verify

Our compliance team checks your company and confirms your licence on the NLA register, usually within 2 working days.

  3. 3

    Set up your network

Add your logo, connect Paystack, then add agents and writers. One click creates a POS + mobile pair per writer; publish the app for their phones.

  4. 4

    Go live

Load writers' credit and sales open as soon as your licence is approved. Commission statements run every 2 weeks.

Pricing

Plans that grow with your agent network

All plans include every feature. Prices in Ghana cedis, invoiced monthly.

Plans are loading…

You pay the first month of your plan by MoMo or card when you apply; it is credited to your first invoice and refunded if your application is not approved.

Gross gaming revenue = ticket sales minus winnings paid. Terminals are the active POS devices and mobile terminal apps when the invoice is made.

Questions

Frequently asked

Anything else? Contact us and we will get back to you.

Who can apply?

Companies registered in Ghana that hold a valid Private Lotto Operator licence from the National Lottery Authority (NLA). We verify every licence before any ticket can be sold.

Can players buy tickets online?

No. KGL holds the exclusive right to sell lottery online (web and mobile), so your tickets are sold only by your agents' writers on POS and mobile terminals. Players use your website for draws, results and ticket checks.

How do writers and agents earn?

Writers buy selling credit at a discount (30% by default: pay GHS 70, get GHS 100). Agents earn commission (3% by default) on all sales by their writers, every 2 weeks. You can change the rates in your settings.

What devices do writers need?

Each writer gets a POS terminal (Sunmi or another handheld with a printer) and the mobile terminal app on their phone. Android phones install the app from your Get the app page; iPhones install it through TestFlight.

Who holds the money?

You do. Credit purchases and MoMo sales go straight to your own Paystack, Flutterwave or Hubtel merchant account. The platform never holds your funds.

Can I use my own web address?

Yes. You start on a free address on our platform and can add your own domain (for example yourlotto.com.gh) at any time. Secure HTTPS is set up automatically.

How is billing calculated?

A monthly plan fee, a small share of gross gaming revenue (sales minus winnings) and a fee per active terminal, invoiced monthly. See the plans below.

What happens when my licence expires?

We remind you 60, 30, 14, 7 and 1 day before. Sales stop automatically on expiry and restart as soon as the renewed licence is verified.
